Here a make-up review of one of the products I receive from my Ipsy subscription. It’s for Jelly Pong Pong Neapolitan Palette. When I did my make-up yesterday, I was quite happy with how it turned out that I just had to blog about it.
As with anything I love and curious about, I went to the company website to check it out since I had never heard of them. They pride themselves in creating products”inspired by the weird and wonderful,” so naturally, I was intrigued. Their beauty lines are whimsical and adventurous. With their fun colors and cute packaging to match, it’s my kind of style. I also like that they strive to make their products to be made of mostly natural products free of of the most well known chemicals that don’t suite the skin.
This particular palette is simple and takes the guess work out of base-contour-highlight. It’s a grab-and-go kind of product. I can rely on this when I don’t want to spend an hour in front of the mirror. Just grab it and in a couple of minutes, I’ve created eyeshadow miracle. Just like their other products, this palette boast to be have no mineral oils, phthalate, fragrance, parabens and is hypoallergenic. The ingredients list is short, which is always a good indication that it’s safer to your skin than products with a long list of ingredients that you can’t pronounce, let alone know if they are harmful to you or not. It’s long-last and ultra pigmented, so it’s good if you are going out and want to have perfect make-up for hours.
I looked at the retail price, and it sells for $17.95 on their website. Already, I’m pleased to know that the $10 a month I pay for the subscription to Ipsy was well worth the investment. For make-up lovers like me who also try to be reasonable when it comes to spending, this was good news.
Overall, I love that this eyeshadow palette is simple yet fun. The fact that it’s also largely not harmful to the skin is a major plus. I count myself as new fan of this make-up line, and will definitely be checking it out on my next trip to a beauty store.
Edit: Thank you Jelly Pong Pong for retweeting my love for this eyeshadow palette!
